Although it sounds so cliché, it is in fact this year’s reality, and it has everything to do with the issues we’ve mentioned in the past: Inventory and Labor Shortages. These problems are not going away anytime soon. Throw in the normal craziness of the holiday season and we’re looking at the perfect storm.

As the world continues to grapple with the aftereffects of a year that is best left unmentioned, it’s critical that we manage all expectations as we enter the second half of 2021. This is why we strongly advise moving your corporate holiday programs up multiple months this year. Otherwise, you will likely be stuck with very limited options to choose from – and that’s never fun.

What does this mean exactly?

In a nutshell, if you want to deliver memorable employee/client holiday gifts this year, it’s time to start planning. Lucky you, we’ve come up with our own timeline to help with refining your strategy in an effort to minimize headaches and heartaches for all:

More tips for consideration:

  • Always have at least one backup product.
  • Add extra time for any kitting and fulfillment.
  • Remember how backed up FedEx and UPS were last year? It will be worse this year, so be prepared for shipping delays.
  • INM can hold products in our warehouse to ship at a later date.

We also have a new Holiday Shop for 2021 where you can start your shopping super early, which is likely to result in a subtle nod of impressive approval from the boss (always a good idea).
