TXU Energy is a corporate partner with the Dallas Stars, our local NHL team. With this partnership comes the need to run activations on-site during events and games. The primary goal is to get individual email addresses from consumers, but without a quality premium or offer to lure them over, it becomes increasingly more difficult.
Reinventing a stale item.
Your personal information is one of the most valuable and protected things you have, so we suggested they step up their premium game and make the product they offer in exchange for this information more desirable and hit their target demographic—sports fans.
Moving aware from the stale old cinch bags they (and everyone else in the world) were offering at the time, we designed a bag that replicated the team’s current home jersey...and used jersey material.

A big return.
The return was quantifiable. Previously, TXU struggled to distribute their allotment of bags over the course of an entire game. With this small change, they’re running out of giveaways before the game is over...and sometimes before the puck even drops.
