Once you’ve decided that branded apparel is the route you want to go for your next marketing campaign, there are a few questions to consider when determining what to do with the graphics. In this segment, we’ll talk about the various locations that you can decorate on apparel.
- What message do you want to convey with this piece? Keep in mind that this is a walking billboard, so this is your opportunity to have your message seen by literally thousands.
- What is your company culture?
- Do you want to keep it basic, or are you open to creative graphic options?
The most popular location for a graphic depends on the type of apparel, but is usually one of the following:
- Small logo on left chest
- Jumbo logo centered in the front
- Small logo on the left chest with a jumbo logo centered on the back of the shirt
These are considered standard decoration locations, but don’t be afraid to get creative with your graphics. Sometimes the best thing you can do is step outside of your comfort zone, especially if your comfort zone isn’t producing the desired results to increase brand awareness.
Below is a decoration guide showing all of the standard embellishment locations as well as some non-traditional options – just in case you get the urge to go crazy.
